She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ray and Inez Mercedes Oliver Horner; her husband Bedford Russell Taylor; her stepdaughter Sandra Postlethwait; her stepgrandson Chuck Postlethwait; and her siblings, Naomi Ruth Horner McQuain, Neil and Byrle Horner.
She is survived by: her children, Shirley Carpenter (McLaughlin) and Bedford "Rusty" Taylor (Holly); her stepson Randy Taylor; her grandchildren, Mark Carpenter (Glennetta), Mike Carpenter (Joyce), Wendy Sharp (Don), Cheryl Topper (Ron), Chris Taylor (Melissa) and Shawn Taylor (Anita); and her stepgrandchildren, Debbie Snider (Jeff), Cindy Lagassee (Scott) and Kelly Skinner. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren; 8 step great grandchildren and 1 step great great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
