He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Singer and Muriel Treva Offord Whisner; his wife Sallie Lou Whisner; and his siblings, Deloris Kidwell, Irma Kidwell, Robert Whisner and Earl Whisner.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dena Marie Kerns (David) and Jane Elizabeth "Betsy" Whisner; his grandchildren, Sarah Catherine Andrzejevski and Rhett Easton Beddow; and his great grandchild Lucca Andrzejevski. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
