He was predeceased by: his parents, William Oscar and Mary Agnes Clark Peters; his wife Hilda Gray Adams Peters; and his siblings, Marjorie Henrietta Welch, Joan Elizabeth Smith, Charles Oscar Peters, George Donald Peters and Robert Kenneth Peters.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Joy Hutchinson (Steve) of Great Cacapon, Kenneth Eugene Peters (Michael Dawson) of Raleigh, NC and Michelle Renai Emerick (Scott) of Hagerstown, MD; his grandchildren, Jesse William Lefever (Anne) of El Mirage, CA, Scott Davis Lefever (Paige) of Pomona, CA, Jeremy McFalls Lefever of Martinsburg, WV and Caroline Hope Pate (Bruce) of Wilmington, NC; and his great grandchild Madeline Gray Pate. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
