He was predeceased by: his parents, Dayton Victor and Grace Peck Kidwell of Virginia; his former wife Deloris Helen Whisner Kidwell; his wife Irma Irene Whisner Kidwell; his daughters, Connie Sue Kidwell and Amy Jo Kidwell; his grandson Preston Fox; and his siblings, Nellie Stotler, Alta Johnson, Wilbur Kidwell, Robert Kidwell and Earl Kidwell.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth E. Kidwell (Bette) of Great Cacapon, Ronald D. Kidwell (Debra) of Great Cacapon, Joyce K. Puffinberger (Dave) of Great Cacapon, Gregory L. Kidwell of Great Cacapon, Michael T. Kidwell (Sandy) of Great Cacapon, Alvina L. Keller (Craig, Jr.) of Great Cacapon, Deanna S. Steiner (Raymond) of Great Cacapon, Thomas M. Kidwell of Great Cacapon and Lori A. Fox (Spencer) of Hedgesville, WV; his siblings, Mary Ellen Bly of Great Cacapon and Carl "Petie" Kidwell of Great Cacapon; his grandchildren, Chester Kidwell, Leah Kidwell, Alec Kidwell, Vanessa Paul, Arnold Puffinberger, Benjamin Puffinberger, Rosetta Puffinberger, Isaac Puffinberger, Bradley Kidwell, Brandi Creek, Jacob Fox, Helen Steiner, Susan Steiner, Clara Steiner and Bruce Steiner; his stepgrandchildren, Glenn Hall and Brad Hall; his great grandchildren, Dalton Kidwell, Josie Kidwell and Carter Creek; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Ayla Hall, Alec Hall, Lily Hall, Aryana Hall, Emma Dowler and Hannah Dowler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
