She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton B. "Mitt" Hutsenpiller and Mintie Keeney Hutsenpiller; her husband Fred E. Surbaugh; and her siblings, Fred, Frank, Ray, Clayton Hutsenpiller, Clarice Hutsenpiller, Mary Good and Verna Douglas.
She is survived by: her children, H. Wayne Surbaugh (Brenda) of Grassy Meadows and Doris Franklin (Richard) of Greenville, WV; her grandchildren, Wayne E. Surbaugh (Mindy Saunders), Paul Surbaugh (Mary), Seth Surbaugh, Tanre Franklin, Tyler Franklin (Alicia), Rachel Burdette (Ronnie), Renee Donavan, Tishauna Franklin and Tambria Moretz (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Eli Surbaugh, Darrelle Burdette, Troy Burdette, Trey Lively and Halie Campbell; her brother Gene Hutsenpiller; and her sister-in-law Billie Jean Hutsenpiller. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
