She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Flanagan and Dorthie Ford Flanagan; her husband Howard Surbaugh; her daughter Sherry; and her siblings, Horace, Everett, Herbert Flanagan, Stella Birchfield and Fern Holland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Glenda Fitzwater (Harold), Lavetta McClung (Glen), Donna and Michelle Mathis (Stanley); and her siblings, Phyllis Smith, Claudia Wimer and William Flanagan. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
