He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Penzes and Teressa Zenc Penzes; his wife Ellen Penzes; and his siblings, Erma Penzes, Alex, Steve and Mike.

He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Obrad (Jim) and Suzanne Kiger (Joe). He is also survived by his granddogs; and several nieces and nephews.
