He is survived by: his children, Janice Cox (Bob) of Ohio, Melvin Marquess (Linda) of Morgantown and Geoffrey Johns (Tami) of Granville; his grandchildren, Chardonnay Johns, Jazmine Johns, Chaunte Johns, Aliza Johns, Mila Johns, Bob Marquess, Christian Marquess and David Liston; his great grandchildren, Amity Holmes and Diamond Marquess; and his sister Sandra Vernon (Roger) of Morgantown. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
