We are sad to announce that on May 8, 2018, at the age of 83, George Chesney Sr. (Granville, West Virginia), born in Morgantown, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Milton Chesney and Katherine Rose Jakubic Chesney; his former wife Betty; his wife Diane; his former wife Florence; his granddaughter Sarah Chesney; and his brother John Max Chesney.
He is survived by: his children, George P., Phil and Chensey, Jr.; his wife Helen of Maidsville; his stepdaughters, Phyllis Kayali of Granville, Tammy Davis (Carl) of Moorefield, Rose Mullins (Matt) of Moorefield and Melody Heat of Moorefield; his friend Ed Turner of Granville; and also, Edward Bryan Chesney of Morgantown, Mable Katherine Franklin (Dean) of Morgantown and Daniel Allen Chesney (Mary) of Dilliner, PA. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
