He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Bud" Varner and Maxine West Varner; and his siblings, Dennis Varner, Donald Varner and Dema Parrotta.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Varner of Sycamore, PA and Eric Varner of Morgantown; and his brothers, Delmas Varner of Hundred and David Varner of Cassville. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
