It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greta Lenore Richards (Grantsville, West Virginia), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Sewell and Minnie Francis Bower Owens; her husband E. Dewain Richards; her son David D. Richards; and her siblings, Joshua S. Owens Jr., Norma Jean Godfrey, Sharlene R. Sadler, Darlene K. Roberts, Ottmer Owens, Woodrow Owens and Vonda Wiedenhoft.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joyce (June), Carolyn (Gary), George (Faye), Ron (Ellen) and Charles (Donna); her daughter Pamela Sheppard; her daughter-in-law Cheryl Richards; her grandchildren, Eric (Kayla), Alicia, Josh, Misty and Shaina; and her great grandchildren, Reagan, Alex, Branson, Laykin, Waylon, Colton, Savannah, Sawyer, Kaylee and Natalie.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc. (107 Market St, Grantsville, WV 26147). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Stump Funeral Home & Cremation (107 Market St, Grantsville, WV 26147).
