She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvan Lewis and Mildred Lewis (Britton); and her brother Bob Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Daniel G. Heiney; her brother Tom Lewis of Loris, SC; and her son Daniel W. Heiney of Grantsville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Carolyn requested that in lieu of flowers a donation could be made to St. Jude Hospital.
