It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Junior Gower of Grant Town, West Virginia, born in Crellin, Maryland, who passed away on February 4, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey F. Gower and Gwendola Baker Gower; his wife Virginia Eleanor Sipes Gower; his children, Robert L. Gower, Roger A. Gower, Harvey D. Gower, John R. Gower and Linda D. Lukins; and his sister Ruth Eddy.
He is survived by: his son Douglas R. (Eraina Gower) of Grant Town; and his children-in-law, William Lukins of Grant Town and Kathy Gower of McCurdysville. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.
