McProuty; his former wife Edrie O'Nile Hannas McProuty; his wife Mary "Tippy" Fitzwater Knotts McProuty; his daughter Teri O'Nile McProuty Sevier; and his siblings, Dorothy Bolger of Vandalia Ohio, Constance Warder of Grafton, Dr. Joseph R. McProuty and Gerald "Jerry" L. McProuty of California.
He is survived by: his sister Evelyn McProuty Freeman of Portland Oregon; and his children, William K. A. McProuty (Patricia Weaver), Timothy P. McProuty (Helen), Zoe Ellen, Sayers (Walter) and Debbie Moyer (Michael). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren.
