We bid farewell to William Francis Boylen of Grafton, West Virginia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 17, 2025 at the age of 90. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Daniel and Chloe Florence Boylen (Shahan); his wife Naomi D. Boylen; his son William F. "Billy" Boylen II; and his siblings, Rev. Lester "Darl" Boylen, Margie Newlon, Helen Toney, Delbert Shahan, Clyde Boylen, Ralph Boylen, Merle Boylen, Russell Boylen and Dorothy Gainer.
He is survived by: his son Alan B. Boylen (Pam) of Fairmont; his brother Jimmy Boylen of Grafton; his grandchildren, Christopher Boylen of Grafton, Jason Boylen of Bridgeport, Aaron Boylen (Danielle) of Grafton, Brandi Davis (Tim Lassiter) of Morgantown and Niki Thorn (Micah) of Bridgeport; his great grandchildren, Cayden, Caitlyn, Raelynn, Holden, Lucas, Camryn, Kiyan, Kianna, Jarin and Brady; his daughter-in-law Shari Boylen of Grafton; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Boylen of Buckhannon and Rev. Walker Toney of Marion, NC. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Donald G. Ford Funeral Home (950 George Washington Hwy, Grafton, WV 26354). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM at the same location.
