He is survived by: his wife Frances Utt Retherford; his daughter Tonya Goodnow (Andy); his grandsons, Stephen Thomas Goodnow and Caden Joshua Goodnow; and his siblings, Robert E. Retherford (Karen), Randall Retherford (Pauline), Steven L. Retherford (Kay), Nancy R. Trapp (Richard) and Dora L. Stutler (Leonard). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
