He was predeceased by: his parent Alexander Church Mathews. He is survived by: his parent Laura Grace Mathews (Gartland); his nephews, Richard T. Hathaway (Helen) of Grafton and Tom Beverlin (Sheryl) of Casco, MI; and his niece Joyce Clark of Maryville, TN. He is also survived by nieces and great- nephews.
