With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard T. Hathaway of Grafton, West Virginia, who passed away on June 8, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard T. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard T. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorsey Sutherland Hathaway and Gertrude Elizabeth Mathews. He is survived by: his wife Helen Anita Hathaway (White); his daughter Amy Elizabeth Hathaway of Clarksburg; and his grandchildren, Charles Richard Hoffman of Grafton and Amber Nicole Hoffman of Clarksburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
