He was predeceased by: his parents, Fielden Richard and Sarah Rager (Pyles) of Virginia; his wife Bonnie Sue Rager (Wilson); and his daughter Tina K. Wilfong. He is survived by: his daughters, Regina S. Rager (Tim Corrothers) of Flemington, Trina F. Rager of Flemington and Lisa M. Lantz of Flemington; his grandchildren, Kelly Corrothers, Devin "Levi" Corrothers, Justin Lantz, Brandon Rager, Travis Rager and Chris Wilfong; and his siblings, Phil Rager (Tina), Dave Rager (Linda), Francis Colebank (Bob), Marlyn Sinnett and Emma Taylor. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
