He was predeceased by: his parents, William Arthur and Arettia Davies (Hart); his wife Lula Alice Davies (Miller); and his sister Deloris McGettigan (Earl). He is survived by: his children, Richard E. Davies, II of Thornton, Terry L. Jones (Mike) of Orange Park, FL and Allison M. Simmons of Flemington; his grandchildren, Chelsey L. Jones of Orange Park, FL, William R. Davies of Flemington, Jennifer R. Weaver (Anthony) of Grafton, Lydea Holman (Stephen) of Vinton, VA, Mackenzie R. Simmons of Flemington, Kassidy L. Simmons of Flemington and Merrick D. Simmons of Flemington; his great grandchildren, Aiden C. Ketterman, Destiny M. Davies, Jasmine N. Lynn, Samuel D. Weaver and Natalie B. Weaver; and his siblings, Donald Davies (Wanda) of Kettering, OH, Gary Davies (Helen) of Morgantown and Judith Smith (Gerald) of Youngstown, OH. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
