He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bernard and Margaret Eloise Dempsey (Gillespie); and his brother David Cole Dempsey. He is survived by: his wife Sally Ann Dempsey (Booker); his children, Dr. Sarah M. Gore (Anthony) of Wilmington, NC, Adam B. Dempsey of Trumansburg, NY, Crystal Rosiek (Victor) of Grafton and Tara Gilpatrick of Republic, PA; his grandchildren, Keegan Gore, Kora Gore, Tricia Sue Andrews, Gabrielle Ward, Isaac Shiflett, Abigail Shiflett, Ryver Shiflett, Carter Guesman, Emma Guesman and Ashtyn Guzik (Nathan); and his great grandchild Skylar Ward. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
