Michele Dobbins Obituary

Michele L. (Dent) Dobbins, age 58, a resident of Grafton, WV., departed this life at the home of her beloved sister Kay Evans while under the care of WVU Hospice with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, following a brief illness.

She was born into this life on July 2, 1966, in Saint Mary's Hospital in Clarksburg, WV., a daughter to Dorothy (Fraley) Emler, stepmother, Linda (Barnes) Dent, and the late Russell Dent.

Michele leaves behind a son; Zane Dobbins of Philippi, daughters; Zoe Dobbins of Flemington, Trista Bouwens, and husband Mike of Grafton, Samantha Bradley, and husband Josh of Morgantown, a brother; Michael Dent of Clarksburg, sisters; Karen Stutler, and husband Travis of Clarksburg, Kimberly Broughton, and husband William of Greenville, TX, and Kay Evans, and husband Mark of Volga, grandchildren; Elliott Dobbins and Noah Dobbins, Seth McCloy, Andrea Toothman, Jenna Toothman, Rylee Gillespie, Kole Gillespie, and Hayden Bradley, several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Michele graduated from Roosevelt Wilson High School in Harrison County with the class of 1984. A Christian by faith. She was employed by Global Security, where she approached her role with unwavering commitment and integrity. Her warm spirit and kind heart touched the lives of those around her, and her memory will forever be a source of inspiration to all who knew her. She was a busy person always working, she loved to rest on her days off and enjoyed every second with her grandchildren. Let us remember Michele for the remarkable person she was and the love she shared, the lives she touched, and the light she brought into the world. May rest in peace, and her memory be a blessing to us all.

In honoring Michele's wishes, her remains were cremated. A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family. The Kittle Family Funeral Home 265 Beech Ave., Philippi is honored to be assisting the family with the arrangements.
