Mary Knotts McProuty Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Knotts McProuty of Grafton, West Virginia, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertzel Brooks and Elizabeth A. Sloan Fitzwater; her former husband Eugene Hall Knotts; her brothers, Albert Lee Fitzwater and Carl Brooks Fitzwater; her niece Patty Collins; and her stepdaughter Teri Sevier.
She is survived by: her husband William Edward McProuty; her daughter Debra Darlene Knotts Moyer (Richard Michael); her grandsons, Matthew Shane Moyer of Grafton and Jarod Kyle Moyer of Grafton; her stepchildren, Tim, Helen McProuty, Zoe, Walt Sayers and Kevin McProuty (Pat Weaver); and her sister-in-law Patsy Fitzwater of Grafton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call for visitation at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave. on Monday January 4, 2021 from 3-7 PM, with proper distancing and face mask required.
