He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Forrest Rogers and Ada Rogers (Poe); his wife Jean "Frances" Rogers (Ringler); his son Marvin Douglas "Dougie" Rogers; and his siblings, Mara Green, Maxine Delaney, Marie Keefover, Mabel Moss, Mildred Miller, George Rogers and Luther Rogers.
He is survived by: his daughter Julia Ann Rawls of Grafton; his grandchildren, Bobby Gerald Rawls, III (Giulianna) of Morgantown, Jared Trent Rawls of Grafton and Jesse Taylor Rawls Farrell (Corey) of Kingwood; and his brother David Rogers (Karen) of Grafton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
