She was predeceased by: her parents, Spurgeon "Pus" Summers and Edith Compton Summers; her husband William "Bill" Harvey Henderson; her grandson Joseph Andrew Closson; and her sister Yvonne Sweetnich.
She is survived by: her children, Sheree Lee Wetzel (Bob), Jill Ann Jenkins (Jim) of Mars Hill, NC, Susan Henderson Closson (Joe), Christina Joy Rauscher (Kent) of Southern Shores, NC and William Clay Henderson (Joy); her grandchildren, Courtney Wetzel, Kirby Fisher, Kaitryn Villano, Eric Jenkins, Ross Jenkins, Kallin Closson, William Noah Henderson and Mia Jo Henderson; her great grandchildren, Aidan Jenkins, Bella Jenkins, Grey Fisher, Axel Fisher and Ziggy Villano; her sister Linda Snyder of Windsor, CA; and her caregiver Sherry Sellers (family: Ronda Stine, Judy Boyce). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
