It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lewis Dale Moats (Grafton, West Virginia), who passed away on May 2, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Ellis Franklin; his stepfather Herbert Claude Boyles; his siblings, Mason Glen Moats, Ellis Franklin Moats Jr. and Nancy Lee Moats; and his wife Regina Mae Moats (Bonner).
He is survived by: his sons, Lewis Wade Moats of Grafton, WV, Jeffery Bryan Moats of Colorado Springs, CO and Scott Andrew Moats (Doren Steffler) of La Mesa, CA; his grandchildren, Hannah Marie Moats of San Diego, CA and Joshua Jeffery Moats of San Diego, CA; his niece Shelia Brown (James); his nephews, Alan Moats (Connie), Timothy Moats (Pamela) and Ronald Moats (Patricia); his close friend Emily Banks-Collins; his adoptive daughter Cyndi Mangus (Mike); his friends, Ron, Velma Crain of Chula Vista, CA, Donald Crain of Palm Springs and Joni Johnson of Fargo, ND; and also, Regina, Ben Maddock, David, Kimberly Larsen, Jennifer, Wesley Grimshaw, Nathaniel Mangus, Roy O'Grady and Henry. He is also survived by his friends and family.
