She was predeceased by: her parents, Elman Francis DeMoss and Jessie Murl DeMoss (Bucklew); her husband George Junior "Bud" Markley; and her siblings, Bessie Austin, Noah DeMoss, Ray DeMoss and Paul DeMoss.
She is survived by: her children, Mildred Wilmadean Carlyle of Grafton, Jessie Sue "Boo" Spiker (Clarence) of Romney and James "Bubbie" Markley of Grafton; and her grandchildren, Christopher Carlyle, Lacy Charlton, Timmy Markley, Jessie Watts, JoAnn Dalrymple and Clarence Spiker II. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
