He was predeceased by: his parent Orval Clyde Simmons; and his sister Janet Keith. He is survived by: his parent Nina Currey Simmons; his wife Helen Simmons; his children, Ramona Ann Warner of Grafton and Delbert Simmons (Nikki) of Jonesborough, TN; his grandchildren, Stanton Walker Simmons and Dalton Cole Simmons; his siblings, Raymond Simmons (Kay) of Shinnston and Carolyn Jausi of New York; and his half-brother Louis Simmons (Diana). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
