It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathleen Parkinson (Grafton, West Virginia), who passed away on January 31, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amy Wiseman and Leslie Wiseman; her siblings, JoAnn Shaffer (Carl), Susie Peters (Carl) and Bud Wiseman (Mary Lou); her nephew Michael Shaffer (Charles Parkinson); and her son-in-law Robert "Bob" Cockrell.
She is survived by: her husband Charles (Parkey); her daughter Linda Lou Peters Cockrell (late Bob) of Morgantown; her grandchildren, Kathleen Cockrell Arbuthnot (David) and Kelly Renee Cockrell Radinsky (John); her great grandchildren, Connor Wentz (Lydia), Emma Arbuthnot, Jordon Wentz, Calista Wentz and Brendan Arbuthnot; her pet Dolly; her granddaughter Kathleen Arbuthnot (Dave Arbuthnot); her close friends, Cassandra, Joe Beaty, Grace and Richard Wolfe; her friend Angie Lovejoy; and her niece Tammy Shaffer.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bartlett Funeral Home (202 Mc Graw Ave, Grafton, WV 26354). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
