He is survived by: his children, Keith Messenger (Judy) of Grafton and Pamela Kisner (Arlie); his grandchildren, Heather Patton of Grafton, Jason Patton of Grafton, Jimmy Patton of Grafton, Brandon Patton of Florida, Joseph Nestor of Georgia, John Ball of Grafton, Amanda Messenger of Morgantown and Nancy Clark of California; his great grandchildren, Alexis Mollohan, Adylynn Clark, Aden Patton, Dillon Patton, Leah Patton, Hailey Patton and Cole Ball; his sister Jean Hershman of Tunnelton; and his daughter-in-law Betty Patton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
