It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jasper Kalo (Grafton, West Virginia), born in Morgantown, West Virginia, who passed away on May 17, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rozalia Kalo (Bartok) and Joseph J. Kalo, Jr.; his wife Catherine Kalo (Hamric); and his brothers, Joseph Kalo and James Kalo.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Steenstra (Carl) of Grafton, Marlene Kalo of Grafton, Sharon Tzavaras (Pete) of Morgantown and Laura Kalo Gow (David) of Chemainus, BC; his grandchildren, Erica Steenstra Bunner (Curt) of Crestview, KY, Jeremy Steenstra (Aterra) of Morgantown and Lauren Fellner of Vail, CO; his great grandchildren, Carlin Bunner, Audra and Aurora Steenstra; his sister Rose Bacho of Williamsburg, VA; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Kalo of Morgantown and Ruth Kalo of Keyser. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
