He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Gus Ballard and Minnie Boone Ballard Sansburry; and his siblings, Charles Ballard of Shinnston, WV, Morris Ballard of Gallipolis, OH and Mary Louise Ballard Haller of Grafton.
He is survived by: his wife Marjory Alice "Marge" Henderson Ballard; his siblings-in-law, Winifred Kay "Wynne" Proudfoot (Charles Robert "Chuck" Proudfoot) of Grafton, James Henderson of Denver, Colorado and Kathy Shaffer of Huntington, WV; his nephews, Chad N. Proudfoot of Grafton and Darrell "Rocky" Loughry (Kathy) of Grafton; and his close friends, Kathy Green of Grafton and Jim Jacobs of Grafton. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
