He is survived by: his wife Connie Lou Abel; his sons, Richard Abel (Jane), Charles (Tammy) and Ron Abel (Melissa) of Grafton; his daughter-in-law Donna Abel; his grandchildren, Julie, Daniel Abel (Tami) of Grafton, Jared (Tiffany) of Ryan, TN, April Ross (Jay), Samatha Summers (Joe), Becky Ward (Jeremy) and T. J. Abel; his great grandchildren, Caylee, Jordyn, Reagan, Shelby, Caroline, Sawyer, Violet and Amelia; and his siblings, Wayne Abel (Mary Jean), Dorothy Collins and Jeannie McDaniel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
