She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald L. Cole; her son John Michael Cole; her grandson Sam Duffy; and her siblings, John Shelton, Joe Shelton of Art Shelton, L. D, Ann Rhoden and Nancy Duffy.

She is survived by: her sons, Ronald Keith Cole (Jodi), Terry Lynn Cole Bridgeport (Jennifer) and William Dennis Duffy (Mylene); her grandchildren, Lauren Reed Cole, Zachary Kenneth Cole, Aly Duffy, Mya Duffy, Jordan Elizabeth Cole and Cameron Michael Cole; and her brother Eddie Shelton Grafton (Dottie).
