He was predeceased by: his parent Harold G. Fortney; and his sisters, Rheta Fortney Westerman Zorik and Catherine Marie Gelhausen. He is survived by: his parent Nellie Fortney (Sapp); his spouse Dorothy Helen Fortney (Plott); his children, Gayla, Wick of Thornton, CO, Donna, Lisa and Joseph; his grandchildren, Alexandra, Whetstine, Joshua Feagin, Rachel, Sarah, Jacob Morgan, Anthony, Travis Fortney, Abbie, Ashley and Ethan Everly; his great grandchildren, Axel, Joshua, Ethan Feagin and Zane Fortney; and his siblings, Kenneth F. Fortney (Brenda) of Shinnston and Edith Gull (Donald). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
