He was predeceased by: his parent David Austin; and his sister Loretta Bodkin. He is survived by: his parent Loretta Sneed Westfall; his children, David Eugene Westfall (Tina), Larry Shaffer and Katie Morgan; his grandsons, Jeremiah David Knotts, Logan David Westfall and William Smallwood; his niece Shirley Tenney (Buck) of Buckhannon; and also, Scotland and Ireland. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
