He is survived by: his grandchildren, Donald Stevens (Lorie), Megan Sylva, Ricky Sylva (Michelle), Robert "Robbie" Slaton (Amanda), Jennifer Pitzer (Casey), Jessica McMasters, Daniel Sylva (Lanessa), Amber Sylva, Steven Yeager, Jennifer Green, Kendra Slaton, James Newlon, Kashia Sylva and Nathanial Metz; his son-in-law Paul Stevens; and his siblings, Dorothy Smith, Patricia Tacy and James Slaton of Minerva, OH.. He is also survived by four children.
