He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva "Tiny" Yacenech and Steve Yacenech; and his brothers, Steve Yacenech and Larry "Shaggs" Shaffer. He is survived by: his fiancée Brenda Cox; his son John David "JD"; his daughter-in-law Erica Yacenech of Meadowbrook; his granddaughters, Chloe and Emma; and his sister-in-law Carol. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
