With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clarice Saunders (Grafton, West Virginia), born in Shinnston, West Virginia, who passed away on February 26, 2020 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Swiger and Ocie Pearl Swiger (Booth); her husband John Henry Saunders; her children, Johnny Saunders Jr. and Tammy Robinson; and her brother Bud Swiger.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Lyons (Bill) of Grafton and Susan McCortney (John); her brother Roger Swiger (Beth) of Grafton, OH; her grandchildren, Becky Lyons of Grafton, Jessica Alkire (Eddie) of Stonewood, Walter Robinson (Jennifer) of Nutter Fort and Billy Patterson (Crystal) of Boothsville; and her great grandchildren, Wade Moyer (Shawna) of Grafton, Eddie Alkire of Stonewood, Brianna Alkire of Stonewood, Taylor Alkire of Stonewood, Brittany Weber of Grafton, Adrianne Robinson of Nutter Fort, Hailey Robinson of Nutter Fort, Hannah Robinson of Nutter Fort and Ocias Robinson of Nutter Fort. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
