With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Clara Gerard of Grafton, West Virginia, who passed away on March 13, 2021 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clara Gerard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Takacs (Andy) and Blanche Bussett Takacs; her husband Samuel Joseph Gerard Jr.; and her children, Ronald Gerard and Renee Bahleda.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel J Gerard III (Teresa) of Grafton and Diana Palmateer (Shawn) of Clarksburg; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Lorraine, Clara Renee, Lesil, Mercedes, Andrew, Ronald and Anthony. She is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A private graveside services will be held at the West Virginia National Cemetery, due to COVID, there will be no viewing or funeral service.
