He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Fredrick and Clarice Lucille Layman (Willis); his wife Nancy Sue Layman (Cerne); and his siblings, Carl Fredrick Layman, Russell Berton "Mose" Layman, Sr., Doris Jean Layman and Izetta Sue Lewis.
He is survived by: his daughter Brittany D. Layman; his siblings, Randy Layman, Robert Layman (Sue), Stanley Layman, Ann Moreland (John) and Sharon Horstman (Harold); and his brother-in-law Russell Lewis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
