He is survived by: his parent Mary Katherine Belcher Hawks; his wife Barbara Ann Fisher Hawks; his brothers, Bobby Hawks and Jimmy Hawks; his son Samuel Hawks, Jr.; his wife Denise Ann of Princeton; his grandchildren, Mary Catherine Sheridan, Emmalyn Grace Sheridan, Toshia Dawn-Marie Hudgins, Cory Nelson Hawks, Justin Matthew Hawks and Bryan Marshall Lyons; and also Ricky E. Hawks (Jennifer Helen) of Princeton.
