She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman McHenry and Virginia Ruth McHenry (Jones); her husband Jimmy Dale Claypoole; and her siblings, Herman "Wayne" McHenry, Virginia Hardway, Mary Jane Clevenger, Marie Barto, Judith Ann McHenry, Bill Dean McHenry and John David McHenry.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Paletti (John) of Florida, Billie Jo Clayton of Jane Lew, WV and Steven Burkhammer of Weston, WV; and her sister Rebecca Junkins (Chuck) of Tanner, WV.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many other wonderful family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. (2 Vanhorn Dr, Glenville, WV 26351). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at the Minnie Hamilton Health Center (186 Hospital Drive, Grantsville, WV 26147).
