It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Brooks Reed of Glenville, West Virginia, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Brooks" and Esta Long Reed; his stepgreat-granddaughter Briella Grace Goodman; and his siblings, Nelson "Tinker" Reed, Marion Reed and Georgia Sergent.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Wolfe (John) of Glenville, Sandy Gumm (Bill) of Normantown, WV and Sherry Ratliff (Tom) of Glenville; his grandsons, Jeremy Wolfe (Ashley) and Austin Ratliff; his stepgrandchildren, Nick Gumm (Joy) and Katie Goodman (Ben); his great grandchildren, Brooks and Nicole Wolfe; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Mason Dennis, Brayden, Ady Gumm, Kade and Xander Goodman; his wife Elma "Cricket" Edwards Reed; and his brother Andrew J. "Jack" Reed (Wanda) of Glenville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

A tribute to celebrate Bob's life will be published at a later date and in lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the Glenville State College, Bob Reed Football Scholarship, Care of GSC Foundation, 200 High St. Glenville, WV 26351 in Bob's honor.
