He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles D. Spaur and Retha Spaur (Gregory); his wife Evelyn Gay Spaur (Weaver); and his siblings, James (Bud), Charles, Rondell, Drexell Spaur, Anita Tennant, Delores Murphy and Agnes Heater.
He is survived by: his son Garry Spaur (Kelley) of Philippi, WV; and his sister Hilda Mace of Parkersburg, WV.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins.
