He was predeceased by: his father Charles Hess. He is survived by: his mother Mildred Hess (Laugford); his daughters, Ashley Hess of Nutter Fort, WV and Jennifer Hess of Sutton, WV; his siblings, Charles "David" Hess (Sandy) of Glenville, Denzil Hess of Glenville, Donald "Hoy" Hess of Glenville, Michael "Tiny" Hess (Stephanie) of Glenville and Martha Tribett of Ravenswood, WV; and his daughter Rebecca Nicholson of Grantsville, WV.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
