She was predeceased by: her parents, Madison Freeman and Laura Freeman (Riffle); her husband Clarence Eugene "Gene" Kelly; her sons, Dana Paul Persinger and Charles Edward Persinger; her grandsons, Nathan, Jacob and Craig Persinger; her great grandchild Allie Hickman; and her sister Susie Dotson.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Persinger of Orlando, WV, James "Jim" Persinger (Bonnie Large) of Belleville, WV and Thomas Kelly (Jann) of Belpre, OH; and her siblings, Jean Leggett of Burnsville and Richard Freeman (Sue) of Burnsville, WV.. She is also survived by grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and a several nieces, nephews, cousins.
