He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Donaldson Helmick; his son David E Helmick Jr. (Kristy); his grandchildren, Dustin and Kaitlyn; his great grandchildren, Neil, Wayne, Jaxon Cole, Twins Raylynn Mae and Paisley Ray; his siblings, Clifford Jr. of Weston, James (Mona) of Buckhannon, Gary (Relanna), Ronzel (Roseanna) of Linn, Vernon (Kathy) of Jane Lew, Shirley Burrows of Jane Lew, Carolyn Waltz and Roselea Marks (Harlin); and his nephews, Dale Helmick and Scott Helmick.
