He was predeceased by: his parents, Ora Howes and Odell Cottrill. He is survived by: his sons, Dustin Howes (Kayla) of Glenville and Brian Howes of Glenville; his stepdaughter Jessica Cana (Paul O'Keefe) of Keansburg, NJ; his granddaughter Mallory Howes; his siblings, Betty Cottrill (Calvin) of Glenville, Carol Bollinger of Burnsville, Hazel Cayton Glenville (Robert), Mary Dennison of Glenville and Johnny Howes of Glenville; and also, Shirley and Maggie Howes.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ellyson Mortuary, Inc. (2 Vanhorn Dr, Glenville, WV 26351). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Gilmer County Volunteer Fire Department in honor of Brown.
