He was predeceased by: his parents, Leamon Grogg and Amy Stalnaker Grogg; his wife Donna Fay Bush Grogg; and his siblings, Freda Amos, Oleana Ferguson, Dottie Bush, Donal, Rondel, Marshall, Leon, Freddie, Jack, Steven, Kenny, Keven, Anthony and Danny Grogg.
He is survived by: his children, Curtis Grogg (Patty) of Glenville, Clarissa Ferrell (Steve) of Glenville and Louie Grogg of Newberne, WV; his grandchildren, Emilee Nichols (Josh) of Spencer, WV, Olivia Ferrell of Cape Coral, FL, Dayton Grogg of Glenville, Cody Grogg of Spencer, WV and Cory Grogg of Newberne; his great grandchildren, Wyatt and Wattson Nichols of Spencer, WV; his sisters, Deloris Davis, Katheryn Phillips, Connie Cogar and Peggy Wade; and his brother-in-law Donald "Don" Bush (Karen) of Tanner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
